Verdict

Neutral Night can get recent losses back at the expense of My Girl Pearl and Marabar. Neutral Night had been costly to follow before finally coming good at the 30th attempt when beating My Girl Pearl over the course and distance 11 days ago. That was off level weights and there is no reason why Roy Brotherton's charge should not uphold the form today. She was just touched off when put back to six furlongs here last time, but back over this trip she should be the one to beat. Marabar has been basically disappointing on the all-weather but has some ability as she was able to score at Pontefract in April. Shirley Oaks has a modicum of ability as well, but we much prefer the claims of Neutral Night under Darryll Holland.
