Verdict
All eyes here will be on Sendintank who bids to equal the British record of 11 wins in a calendar year, and we shall take him to do it, with Merrymaker, Hello It's Me and Argonaut just three out to deny him his slice of glory. It will be quite fitting if he does achieve the feat today, as Stuart Williams' four-year-old began his prolific winning sequence over the course and distance off a mark of 50 in January, and has improved no less than 46lbs during his run. Beaten at Lingfield last time when having to try and make the running, he will be much more at home here, and is taken to reverse form with his conqueror last time, Hello It's Me, on these terms. Merrymaker and Cold Turkey both look held on Lingfield form as well, and a bigger danger could well be Argonaut, who was giving lumps of weight away to the selection when beaten just over five lengths at Newmarket in August. The ex-Sir Michael Stoute inmate has been off since then, but if anywhere near fit for his Polytrack debut, then he could make a bold bid to spoil the party. However, we shall remain loyal to Sendintank who can join Misty Morn (1858), Honesty (1869) and Madame Jones (2001) on the 11 mark.
