        Verdict

        Spanish Star would have a chance on his best form, but Norma Macauley's team is hopelessy out of sorts at present and is passed over. Spitfire Bob is from a shrewd yard and must be kept an eye on if the market speaks in his favour. A winner here back in September, he is only 4lbs higher in this. Blushing Prince is far from straightforward, but he is capable if things go his way, but the vote goes to Perfidious, who is effective here and is 1lb lower than when chasing home Te Quiero round here, in a better race, last month.
