Langley Vale was ahead of Intense Starlet when scoring over track and trip and is upped only 3lb. Classic Flyer carries 6lb extra for last week’s success at Newcastle but Storm Lightning failed to cope with a penalty at Brighton having won at the same track earlier. Virile won here before returning a losing favourite at Bath but VIVA VERGLAS gets another chance today having posted a much better effort off today’s mark at Newcastle last time when finishing runner-up ahead of a subsequent winner.
