        Verdict

        The step up in trip from last time seems sure to suit Awake, and he can land the claimer, with Absent Friends, Golden Dixie, Point Of Dispute, Muy Bien and Soba Jones. The fact that the selection also holds claims on official adjusted ratings lends credence to the case for his chance. Absent Friends gets a mention by virtue of his adjusted rating too, although he has yet to make the frame in four all-weather starts. Therefore, Point Of Dispute, a good second in a similar race at Lingfield last time, might be the one to give the selection the most to do. Of the others, Muy Bien and course and distance winners Golden Dixie and Soba Jones ought to be competitive at this level on these terms but, for the winner, we return to Awake.
