In depth
Verdict
Dan di Canio might just provide the answer here, with Colour Code, Three Ships and Seldemosa also shortlisted. Colour Code stepped up on previous efforts last time and has to be given a chance today. Dan di Canio was only just touched off at Lingfield last time and is another to give serious thought to. The Clown should be watched for in the betting. Three Ships' course and distance run behind Libre here on December 4th also puts him in the mix, while Binaa raced too keenly last time on her British debut and should be able to improve on that, and Seldemosa finished three lengths in front of her, with Augustine, who showed promise when with David Loder in 2003 but who needs to improve on recent efforts, further behind. Finally, Odabella showed plenty of promise in her earlier days when with John Gosden and could well get involved on her all-weather debut. However, for the winner, we will stick with Dan di Canio.
