In depth

Verdict

A course and distance winner in April, Admirable Lad found one too good last time and is raised a further 3lb. Fircombe Hall won easily at Carlisle a week ago and is 6lb higher but MORTY is less exposed and returning to 6f having won over the minimum trip at Ripon, David O’Meara’s charge may edge this. Nacho has placed over 5f here the last twice while Secret To Success finished runner-up over today’s trip at Yarmouth and is still looking for her first win.
