      Verdict

Vitesse Du Son bids for a hat-trick raised 3lb after landing a double at Lingfield but it could pay to stick with HACHERT (NAP). The latter returned to winning ways with a recent course and distance success and can go in again having won off a higher mark at Ayr last year. Mercurist has won twice over a mile this year but looks high enough in the weights now while Far From A Ruby can figure returning to the all-weather on the back of modest efforts at Bath. Peachey Carnehan’s earlier win here came in classified company.
