Placed at Newmarket on debut, Shandoz was expected to do much better at Salisbury last time when starting favourite. It’s too soon to write him off but TRUMPET MAN is still preferred having finished a close-up fourth at Chelmsford on his recent debut. Sword Beach would have a shout if taking part but was due to run at Newbury yesterday but Falcon Claws looks a likely improver.
