    Verdict

Shamash steps up in trip but the recent course winner will be fancied to go well again with Paul Hanagan doing the steering. Monjeni was successful over track and trip on his first run for Ian Williams but has better opposition to contend with today off a 6lb higher mark. Oratorio's Joy has been beaten three times since winning a three-runner claimer at Lingfield while Free Bounty’s victory in January came on Fibresand. UNCLE BERNIE might offer a bit of value as he was second off a higher mark on his reappearance here in January and is a past course and distance winner.
