Verdict

PEARL NOIR is well drawn for a confirmed front-runner and has been knocking on the door off this sort of mark lately. His turn may have finally arrived again as he is getting 10lb from the consistent Loumarin if his rider’s claim is taken into account, though Silvestre de Sousa’s mount looks the danger. Dandilion started favourite at Newcastle earlier this month but finished a length behind fourth-placed See Vermont. The selection’s stablemate Penny Dreadful has run poorly on Tapeta in the past.
