Verdict
Another field large in numbers but low in quality. Bodfari Pride, Champagne Raider, Feast Of Romance and Risk Free are all worthy of consideration but a chance is taken on Blakeset. The gelding from the bang in form David Baron yard was a good second behind If By Chance last time out and now he is back on his favourite surface he will be hard to beat. Champagne Rider is another that could go well but his best form of late has been over a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Bodfari Pride won well last time out but that was at Southwell and he has never ran as well here before. Feast Of Romance is thrown in on his best form but he has become very disappointing of late. Risk Free is from a yard in top form and showed signs of a revival last time, so it would be no surprise if he were to win. The remainder need to improve on there latest efforts to take a hand in the finish.
