        Verdict

        Crocodile Power posted his best effort so far when runner-up here last time and is preferred to Loftym, who may do better back on this surface after struggling in testing ground at Catterick. Bartat and Defilade have both slipped down the handicap though neither look like taking advantage on recent form and NIBRAS SHADOW is preferred. The latter won easily over a mile at Newcastle recently and an apprentice’s allowance cancels out a penalty. Due to be raised a further 3lb in the future, she can go in again.
