In depth

Verdict

Kashagan has been racing over longer trip since making a winning start over this trip at Newcastle in May. Blood Eagle could figure if benefiting from a recent break while a first victory for Baryshnikov shouldn’t be far away now that the handicapper is starting to relent. THE DANCING POET just gets the nod, however, as connections have now found his best trip and he was heavily eased last time at Epsom having been badly hampered inside the final furlong when holding every chance of following up an earlier win on Polytrack.
