Verdict
Very useful staying hurdler Stromness catches the eye here on his chasing debut and is taken to go in at the first time of asking over the larger obstacles. He is sure to have been well schooled and has most to fear from fellow chasing debutant Strong Flow. Paul Nicholls' gelding is certainly bred for this game and this race has a good look to it. Others to factor in to the selection process are the experienced Bonus Bridge, the former Jonjo O'Neill inmate, Celtic Pride and one-time useful bumper performer Redde.
