In depth
Verdict
Plenty of runners but no strength in depth here. Paul Nicholls French import Le Passing would not have to be a world beater to gain a debut win in Britain but it is Thesis that gets the vote. He has some creditable placed efforts to his name, certainly in the context of this race and his stable is in fairly good form. Bred by the Aga Khan but now with Dai Wintle, Ridapour could step up on what he has achieved so far as he is back in trip and may have learned to settle in his races. It would be no surprise to see Travellers Heir go well in which very few appear to have a chance and Nicky Henderson's Tagar has also to be given respect.
