Verdict
Croix De Guerre is taken to get the better of Seeyaj, with Musally and Marrel not to be ruled out of contention. Philip Hobbs also saddles Just In Time, but Richard Johnson partners the hat-trick seeking Croix De Guerre who should make a bold bid to add to his tally over this trip. He only scraped home over two miles and one furlong at Southwell, but has taken on much better opposition than this in the past and might yet fulfill his true potential. Seeyaj will also be popular but he was a beaten favourite at Uttoxeter and does not make as much appeal. Musally is taking time to come to the boil judged on his two efforts this summer, but did win at Ludlow in April and is one to keep on the right side of, while Marrel who never got into contention at Newton Abbot, will be a bit of a threat if reproducing his earlier effort here in June. Latensaani needed the outing at Market Rasen and will probably be put back over fences soon. He is another to watch today, but for the winner we return to Croix De Guerre.
