Verdict

Cool Touch could be interesting on his fencing bow having had a pipe-opener over hurdles at Newton Abbot last month but this may still end up a match between previous winners BLACK JACK BLUES and Rio Gael. The latter was a little disappointing when only fourth at Newton Abbot last time so the vote goes to Rebecca Curtis' gelding, who was much the better of the pair over timber and made a winning start over fences when accounting for subsequent scorer Pure Faith at Ffos Las. The others have plenty to find if they are to get involved.
