      Verdict

      If able to reproduce anything like his best form Martin Pipe's Eden Dancer would win this with the minimum of fuss. However, the 10-year-old is very much on the downgrade at present and is difficult to recommend with any confidence. A similar comment could be made about Raw Silk, who was in good form in the spring but lost his way subsequently. Given a two month break by Jonjo O'Neill it would be no surprise to see him return to his previous form here. Richie's Delight is basically a disappointing type, who may be better served by this drop in class, which can also be said of the Charlie Egerton-trained Empire Park. There are no such doubts for supporters of Musical Mayhem. David Wintle's nine-year-old has done little wrong over hurdles in recent seasons, including in this grade and a reproduction of his last time out form at Wolverhampton may suffice.
