Verdict

THE COCKNEY MACKEM could be worth following now he's got his head in front over fences. He's always had ability, as his second in a Grade 3 handicap at the Cheltenham Festival last year proves, and gets 6lb here from the hat-trick-seeking One Term. Swaledale Lad finished a long way behind the latter at Bangor in July but still looks the pick of the remainder with The Nephew having plenty to prove at present.
