In depth
Verdict
A large field goes to post for this maiden hurdle but on closer inspection only a few can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Vodka Bleu, Wheredidthemoneygo, Rockford and Dante's Porridge and the vote goes to Vodka Bleu. The selection would win this easily on his best form and although he was very disappointing when odds on last time out he has been given plenty of time to recover from those exertions and with conditions in his favour he is given one last chance to score. Wheredidthemoneygo rates the main danger on his latest second behind Hope Sound he remains unexposed at this trip and is a danger to all. Rockford was second behind Silver Gift off a mark of 83 last time but it will be disappointing if he is not beaten by a less exposed sort. Of the remainder Dante's Porridge is the only other that can be seriously considered he is very lightly raced so is open to improvement but he will need to settle better than he did when second behind Vitelli if he is to score and for the winner we return to Vodka Bleu.
