Samandara,Separated and Shady Grey are three against the field in this maiden hurdle and the narrow vote is given to Seperated. The selection was let down by her jumping when fourth behind Blueberry Ice last time out but prior to that she was an unlucky second and if she improves in the jumping department she will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Samandara rates the main danger as she was a fair fourth behind Darrias last time and that form has since been franked. However her best form is with slightly more cut in the ground and at likely odds she looks worth opposing. Shady Grey is another worthy of respect on her latest second behind Wayward Melody but that was over a longer distance and the drop in trip is not sure to suit. Of the remainder Ballydoyle Counsel has been in fair form between the flags of late and is one to note in the market but for the winner we return to Separated.
