Verdict

Last Summer and New Providence are certain to attract plenty of attention on their debuts as they represent John Ferguson and Nicky Henderson respectively. The market should signpost what is expected first time up and both need to be taken seriously. Bendomingo and Officer Hoolihan have shown enough promise to be of interest too but PRINCESS ROANIA sets the standard on bumper achievements to date, winning at Taunton on debut before posting a solid runner-up effort under a penalty at Newton Abbot. She's gone well on the forecast ground and Sean Bowen claims a handy 3lb. Hopefully, her racecourse experience can prove decisive.
