Battle Master comfortably holds Defiant Dazzler on form shown when both made debuts at Ludlow but they'll need to improve on that level to take a hand here, whilst take note that Meyrem Ana's second placing on debut arrived in a two-horse affair that saw her beaten over 20l. Rollo's Reflection is hard to assess on the back of a sole point-to-point placing and Jonjo O'Neill's newcomer, Vabinsaru, looks a likelier sort who hasn't been found too tough a task first time up. However, BLACKDOWN HILLS has shaped quite well on her two bumper starts, not beaten at all far at Ludlow last time, and her useful amateur claims a valuable 7lb. Further improvement looks likely and she should certainly be in the shake-up.
