Verdict

IMPULSIVE AMERICAN is impossible to oppose dropping into a seller. David Pipe’s six-year-old hasn’t won in two years but has been holding his own in much better company than this and has well over a stone in hand according to the handicapper. Take A Break is better treated over fences and was only third dropping into this grade last time at Stratford. Hoke Colburn and Affaire D'Honneur have been chasing and have become disappointing but still look the pick of the remainder.
