Verdict

Cape Caster was last of four back over hurdles at Stratford at the start of the month but may just have needed the run and he has claims in a race like this. Way Out West recorded a first victory over hurdles at Southwell in June but is 8lb higher now. Aldrin is better than he’s shown so far in handicaps and Shanroe Tic Tec is also unexposed. Boychick is having only his fifth start under NH Rules but needs to take a step forward. MAURICIO won on his handicap debut at Uttoxeter earlier this month and was a close third off this mark on a return visit. He possibly hit the front too soon on the latter occasions and deserves another chance. Excellent Team has won off a higher mark and has had wind surgery so any market support should be noted.
