Verdict
We are going to give another chance to Bob's Buzz in this contest, with Invader and Threezeddz rated the dangers. We talked up the selection's chances when he ran over course and distance last time as he was bidding to win the race for the second year in a row. However, much as he finished third, his run, for us, was slightly disappointing. However, he remains, to our eyes, reasonably well handicapped and we feel that the delay to proceedings at Yarmouth that day worked against him. We don't envisage a similar problem today so make him the selection again. Invader has to be a danger, having win off a three-pounds higher mark at Doncaster last season and coming, as he does, into this race on the back of an all-weather win. Hand Chime has struggled of late and, even though the handicapper is now giving him a chance, he is possibly worth taking on. Lygeton Lad ran well on Turf at Ascot last time, although most of his wins have come on Lingfield's all-weather, while Threezedzz is rated three-pounds higher than for his Chepstow win, although his good rider takes that three pounds off his back. He might present the biggest danger to the selection, which remains Bob's Buzz.
