        Verdict

        Another race where plenty of caution is advised and we will take Cordage to land it from Quizzene and Rosecliff, with the usual noting of the market moves here to take into account. The selection has the best form on offer here and was not far away in his first three starts, all over six furlongs, before being hampered and not getting as close as at one stage looked possible when fourth of nine at Musselburgh when stepped up to a mile last time. He seemed to handle cut well enough on that occasion and can finally get off the mark here if he can reproduce his earlier efforts. If he doesn't then Quizzene could be the one. Mark Johnston remains in form and Quizzene will surely come on for a recent debut here, when he ran green but was staying on to be closest at the finish. We expect more this time. Of the remainder, Rosecliff is another who looks capable of a fair bit better than a green debut at Newmarket, and after a nice break since then he can show more here, but Cordage has the form on the board and that can stand him in good stead here.
