Verdict

Ferrara Flame showed enough last time to get the vote here over Bridegroom, Sandy's Legend and Zolash. Ferrara Flame has that bit of experience that should stand her in good stead as she bids to repel the challenge of some interesting newcomers. Roy Brotherton's filly was having her fourth outing when second in selling company at Windsor in October, and providing that she quickly adapts to the Polytrack, can prove the answer. The big sourthern yards are well represented, with Ed Dunlop's Bridegroom being a full brother to Show No Fear, and Roger Charlton's Rustler being a half-brother to middle distance score Worcester Lodge. In addition, Willie Haggas saddles Novelina who is related to sprinters. Tangible comes from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the betting as well, but in a hard race to call with so much unexposed talent on view, it may pay to stick with Ferrara Flame to small stakes.
