Verdict
Head Boy gets a tentative vote over Pepper Road and Zhitomir in another weak looking contest on the Polytrack. None of these inspire much confidence but something has to win it, so it is more in hope than optimism that we row in with Head Boy who would have been much closer at Warwick last time had he not been brought wide into the straight, eventually finishing sixth to Morse. He has shown ability on more than one occasion and has a good jockey on board in Seb Sanders. Pepper Road seems to have just gone off the boil but comes from a shrewd yard when the money is down and he did have winning form in the summer. Zhitomir's stable had a real purple patch early on in the season but has been quiet of late, and the six-year-old has looked a bit one-paced. Cayman Breeze was fourth in a seller at Leicester which does not inspire much confidence, and for the winner we look to Head Boy.
