Verdict
Gallery God might be able to defy a penalty here, but there are a number of dangers, the best of which might be Karoo, Menphis Beury and Space Cowboy. The selection was quite a decent middle-distance performer on the Flat and carried that promise into the jumping sphere by following up his debut second by scoring here last time. That sets the benchmark for the form and he looks set to go well. The Paul Nicholls-trained Karoo, Gary Moore's Space Cowboy and Henry Daly's Menphis Beury have also shown enough promise over hurdles to suggest that they can be competitive in this contest. Of the others, Marching Premier has hinted at ability, Latzod'Alm showed promise over fences in France and Ultimate Limit showed promise in Irish bumpers last season, but disappointed on his British hurdling debut. The rest look to have something to find on what they have so for shown so, for the winner, once again we return to Gallery God.
