Verdict
Krynica, Theas Dance and Velveteen Rabbit represent top stables and we will give the vote to the last named. The Godpolphin challenger is steadily improving with racing and looks on a very fair mark. Her most recent effort came in a maiden at Folkestone where she finished a close second to Kalmini. The fourth home in that event has gone on to land a competitive nursery so the form does appear to be rock solid. Krynica was a game winner of her maiden at Pontefract, but had her limitations exposed when well beaten at Doncaster next time. However this is not the strongest of contests so we can expect her to be in the shake up. Best of the low-weights could be David Loder's Theas Dance who made an encouraging debut over course and distance in July. She has been a shade disappointing since, but if she can reproduce that initial outing she will have a great chance off this mark. Succession won nicely last time and is another to consider, but Velveteen Rabbit is on the upgrade and is taken to land the spoils.
