In depth
Verdict
Improvement can be expected from a number of these, including Home Affairs who gets the verdict from Allied Cause and Alqaahir. Sir Michael Stoute's colt put up a very promising display on his debut when finishing a close up fifth behind Librettist at Newmarket back in July. Numerous winners have come out of that contest so the form looks rock solid and with normal improvement this son of Dansili will be very hard to beat. Allied Cause ran very green when finishing in mid-field behind Cassydora and a much better effort can be expected. There are some very interesting newcomers in the line-up including Alqaahir from the Godolphin camp. He is a son of Swain and is related to plenty of winners including the classy Intikhab, watch the market for any moves on this colt. The same applies to the other Stoute representative Phi, but with the champion preferring Home Affairs, this looks the likely winner.
