Verdict
Rainbow Queen is given a chance to atone for a terrible effort last time and can beat La Persiana, Polar Jem and Silk Fan. The fact that Sir Michael Stoute has persevered with this four-year-old is a tip in itself. She was well behind today's rival La Persiana at York on her first run for almost two years, and virtually pulled up next time on soft ground. However she was a top class two-year-old and if she can start living up to her superb pedigree, she will start to win decent races. La Persiana holds very strong claims indeed, following that victory at York, she ran a cracker on unsuitable ground to chase home the improving Posteritas in a listed event over course and distance, it will be difficult to keep this one out of the frame. Silk Fan looked a smart two-year-old last season and has put up some good performances this season against decent opposition. Meanwhile Polar Jem holds her form well and is a credit to her trainer, she is sure to be in the firing line again. So a very tricky contest and Rainbow Queen will have to improve dramatically, but we think she will.
