        Verdict

        WINTER LIGHTNING (NAP) was having her first start since March when running a big race in a Group 3 at Sandown earlier this month. This longer trip should now be within her compass and Saeed bin Suroor’s filly is preferred to Chain Of Daisies. The latter is penalised for last month’s Listed success at Salisbury but still has plenty in hand with most of these on today’s terms. Dancing Brave Bear was well beaten in the Ribblesdale last time but was runner-up in the Musidora at York before that and Ryan Moore gets the leg-up today. She’s preferred to Rasima and the latter’s stablemate Sheikha Reika while Scottish Jig is upped in class after placing in a handicap at Ascot.
