      Verdict

      High Applause and Silver Nemo were both well beaten on the all-weather on their respective debuts but SOLDIER LIONS found only one too good at Leicester on his introduction. He finished clear of the rest on that occasion and looks to have a good opportunity to open his account. The biggest threat may come from one of the newcomers with Alicestar, a half-sister to three winners, preferred to Castana Dia of those.
