In depth
Verdict
This modest affair looks to be there for the taking for Secret Jewel, who can beat Mister Completely and Signora Panettiera. Lady Herries' filly put up her best performance to date when chasing home Sovietta at Leicester last time. That was over the twelve furlong trip, but she was staying on resolutely at the end of that contest and could relish this extra distance this afternoon.Mister Completely has put up some decent performances over shorter distances, but did struggle behind Strangely Brown when tried over the two mile trip. On saying that this is a weak contest and he should still figure in the finish. Signora Panettiera has a chance on bits and pieces of form and may run into a place. The others make little appeal and so Secret Jewel is a confident choice.
