In depth
Verdict
Another very tricky maiden with many unknown quantities, but we have managed to narrow it down to Kerashan, Bureaucrat & Rightful Ruler, with the first named just edging the decision. Sir Michael Stoute's youngster has put in two decent displays so far. His most recent effort at Kempton was most encouraging as he ran green in the closing stages when just beaten by John Gosden's Australian. The experience will be of great value here and he looks the on to be on. Gosden himself is represented by Bureaucrat who put up a solid first effort when a close up fourth in a Salisbury maiden last time, with improvement expected he will be a major threat to all. Rightful Ruler has come up against some decent performers in two Bath maidens and is well capable of taking a hand in the finish here. There are some well connected debutantes in this contest so watch out for any big market movers, but on this occasion we will stick with the form horse and that appears to be Kerashan.
