In depth
Verdict
The ground has probably gone against the Willie Jarvis-trained Bakhoor and a safer bet looks to be Brunelleschi, who gets the vote over Mr Cellophane. The last mentioned has run with credit with cut in the ground but his better form is on a faster surface so the John Jenkins-trained gelding may be best watched. Jane Chapple-Hyam's Methaaly has not progressed as much as may have been anticipated, while Siraj has done most of his racing on the all-weather and is probably best watched on his return to turf for the first time since August. Brunelleschi has won his last two starts on good ground in decent fashion, has form on a soft surface and he has every chance of completing a hat trick.
