Verdict
Gigs Magic arguably has the best form on offer but Mark Johnston's gelding would probably prefer a faster surface and preference is for Elopement, who gets the vote over Kingscape. The last mentioned has disappointed when stepped up to this trip but he may do better now encountering a softer surface. Magic Amigo should have no problems with the ground but is hard to back on recent evidence, while Art Investor remains a maiden after 16 starts and is hard to recommend. Grand Court has yet to race on ground this soft and a safer option looks to be Elopement, who has run well with cut in the ground before and is taken to resume winning ways.
