Verdict
Bob's Buzz and Cold Climate are the obvious choices on last years form, but we will side with Haydn. Peter Chapple-Hyam's gelding hasn't lived up to his illustrious pedigree, but appeared to be coming to hand at Goodwood last time when finishing a close up fifth behind Presto Shinko. the race has thrown up numerous winners and Haydn can add to that tally. Bob's Buzz landed a similar race over the seven furlong trip here last August and may have needed his recent outing at Leicester, he rates a big danger to the selection. As does Cold Climate, a course and distance winner who had quite a successful winter campaign on the all-weather. Warlingham has gone well here in the past so is another to consider, but Haydn looks to be hitting form and is given the nod.
