      Verdict

Another head-scratcher for punters may go to Watching who gets the vote over a whole host of possibles including Manaar, Harrison Point and Primo Way to mane but three. With Richard Fahey in good form still after his summer purple-patch, it would be no surprise if Watching were to return to the winner's enclosure here. The seven-year-old was touched off by stablemate Fonthill Road here in July, and had every chance at Goodwood the time before last. With that in mind he is not too badly treated, and should be in the shake-up at least. Manaar has been knocking on the door and stayed on well at Epsom, while Harrison Point is another that encountered traffic problems in the recent past, notably at Doncaster. Primo Way's trainer is always dangerous with his runners here, and Hartshead has been ultra-consistent. Alan Swinbank's runner has thrived since being dropped back in trip, and with Kieren Fallon expected to ride, he can play a part as long as the ground stays dry. Master Robbie is slowly returning to form and is yet another to mention, but in a race in which bets are best kept on the small side, Watching is the selection.
