Verdict
Noble Duty can make his brief experience count against Blue Train, and Mahmjra in division two of the maiden. Godolphin have a fancied candidate in division one and in Noble Duty, have the ideal candidate to mop up the second leg. From the first crop of Dubai Millennium, he holds no fancy entries at this stage but shaped like a certain future winner when chasing home Merchant on his Newbury debut. That was a solid effort, given the exploits of Michael Bell's charge this term, and Noble Duty need only improve a few pounds to go one better. Blue Train is very well bred, being by Sadler's Wells out of Igreja, a Group 1 winner. He has by all a accounts been working well at home but a watching brief may be advisable unless he is heavily punted. Mahmjra comes from a stable full of juvenile talent lately, so will be expected to perform well, while Tarraman comes from the stable that houses the current 2,000 Guineas favourite Shamardal so is worth a mention. Experience counts for a lot though, and for that reason, Noble Duty is selected.
