        Verdict

        Richard Fahey has a strong hand with both Rene Mathis and WITHERNSEA capable of going close. The former won off a similar mark at Goodwood last year but the latter was runner-up in a tough handicap at Haydock in April and he gets the nod to go one better. Felix Leiter ended a long losing run with victory on the Turf course at Lingfield recently and makes less appeal raised 6lb but Mujassam can figure returning to 7f with Paul Hanagan back on board. Lincoln came up short in a similar contest over track and trip last time and Chester winner Secret Hint has yet to score over further than 6f.
