        In depth

        Verdict

Eurystheus won this off a higher mark in 2014 but last year’s winner Correggio arrives in poor form. David O’Meara runs four but Terhaal disappointed when favourite at Leicester recently while Jacbequick won at Beverley during the week but is best at that track. Tadaany arrives out of sorts and Nonchalant looks stuck on his current mark bidding to end a long losing run. Auspicion and Tellovoi have won lower grade handicaps recently while recent Leicester winner Normandy Knight could have been better drawn. TORRID missed the whole of last year and has slipped 10lb down the weights since winning a maiden. He’s steadily improved in three starts for his new trainer and Mick Easterby’s charge looks set to run a big race with headgear applied for the first time.
