WHAT'S THE STORY won this in 2019 and another top handicap on the track later that year. He retains all of his ability judging by his close second in a Doncaster Listed contest in March and can concede weight all round. Matthew Flinders had Johan 3 lengths behind when placed in the Spring Cup at Newbury and should confirm the form while Artistic Rifles has been in superb form for the Bethells after arriving from France and his only defeat in his last five came on Tapeta. Brunch was receiving 1lb when beating Hartswood narrowly here in August so the latter, who had won his previous start on the track, should go well from what looks a reasonable mark.
