Verdict
Muntadab looks to be on a decent mark at present and Get Knotted has been a standing dish here down the years. Star Shield ended the last campaign with a victory over a mile at Haydock but Tim Easterby’s yard appears to hold a strong hand in this. Boardman was back to his best when skating up on heavy ground at Haydock last weekend and should go well again under his penalty with Cassy O catching the eye when just behind Trinity Lake at Wetherby last month. FORTAMOUR may be at the top of the racecard but the weights are fairly compacted and Ben Haslam’s tough handicapper is a pound lower than when third in a higher grade over course and distance last July. His latest third at Ripon is working out well with then fourth and fifth both successful since. Tom Collins will enjoy conditions more than at Thirsk but he’s not raced over a trip this short since his two-year-old days.
