Verdict

ABOVE THE REST is 2lb lower than beating course specialist Get Knotted in this last year. He had no luck in-running when just behind Admirality, Danielsflyer and Three Saints Bay at Thirsk last time and should go close again if an outside draw doesn’t prove too much of a disadvantage. Blizzard is interesting for in-form Ralph Beckett as she ended last season by winning a Listed contest in France. Lord Oberon was staying on when second over 6f at Haydock and Aljady and Ripon winner Hyperfocus are others who might benefit from the extra furlong. Chester winner Kaeso has the pace to cope with the drop back to 7f while the booking of Ryan Moore for the lightly-weighted Aces catches the eye but Beverley scorer Love Dreams may struggle to dominate this big field.
