    Verdict

The veteran Archive is in the form of his life though his hat-trick has been completed at Class 5 level and he's up 6lb from his latest victory. Ideal Candy is tackling the trip for the first time and also steps up in grade after staying on strongly over 1m2f at Pontefract. Perfect Illusion is still a maiden on Turf and has been a beaten favourite the last three times he's run. MAKAWEE takes a step-up in class but is very lightly raced and can make the transition. She ended the last campaign scoring over this trip at Musselburgh and showed that she had trained on with a fine run over shorter at Hamilton earlier this month.
