Verdict

Archie Watson's horses have been in good form and War Storm ran very well at Wolverhampton despite looking in need of experience. Dutch Decoy started long odds-on for his Newcastle debut but missed the break and ran green. Much better must have been expected and he should be a different proposition. His stable also run the very well-connected International Lion, who has a fine pedigree and is definitely one to keep on the right side. FINDHORN hails from a yard in sparkling form and the son of Kyllachy, a half-brother to two winners, can make a successful start though another newcomer, Makyon, is related to several winners including the very smart filly Nahoodh.
